The Engine Viewer is a software tool developed by MAN Diesel & Turbo to make the planning of engine rooms as reliable and comfortable as possible.
The concept is based on realistic, 3D models of our four-stroke, medium-speed engines (power range from 3,000 to 21,600 kW), developed especially for planning engine-room layouts. For precise drafts and layouts, the Engine Viewer also gives shipyards and engineering companies access to 2D drawings.
After configuring a virtual engine, the user gets a model with isometric views and installation drawings, including dismantling area and nozzle ports. A user-friendly navigation makes the data easy to download, in both 2D and 3D.

The Engine Viewer is available via Nexus, MAN Diesel & Turbo's extranet.
